The Paris mess is a threat to Europe and the West-An Intelligence Analyst Point of View

The situation in France and in particular Paris is continuing to generate significant loss of property and loss of life. The response from the french government continues to be be soft at best when trying to work things out with the leaders of these groups. Macron has the right to use his full police powers to bring LAW AND ORDER... but it is not happening.

At Contingent Security Services, Ltd. We think a 3 prong approach can be applied in this situation. It is clear the participants are NOT going to stop and today their escalation in Paris is just the tipping point.

Prong Number 1: Based on analysis, the social media platforms social media is the way to they are organizing and launching their attacks. While the government is responding with the ideology that the protesters/terrorists/anarchists have the right to express their right to protest, the country continues to fall into the hands of these criminals. What is France doing about figuring out who is behind these several movements?

Prong Number 2: Police should respond accordingly and bring their military to assist... The protest that started for the gas prices increase with over 250k protesters had a basis for their right to manifest. However, the anarchists have now taken over. The 1600 people arrested are a small number compared to the numbers showing in the streets. Hold them and Keep then in Jail as long as possible. But we know that may not happen. Watch for the extremists and foreign players working their movements including financing. Bring law and order by use of police and military if necessary.

Prong Number 3: The concessions and demands from the groups should be performed part of any negotiation provided their violence comes to a STOP. It is clear negotiations are going underway. It is possible that the ELEMENTS in these groups that don't care for negotiations and anarchy is their only purpose must be identified and arrested. Period. The ones getting concessions MUST STOP SHOWING UP TO protest... they are in negotiation with the government.

Conclusions: Protests have in many ways people with different requests and grievances, as an intelligence analyst, there must be a complete set of analysis based on these different groups their issues, stages of these protests along with the groups that are involved. Most protests have START and an END There is a time during the event when things begin to GET OUT OF HAND.

Usually the TROUBLE MAKERS/ANARCHISTS take over. Having seeing protests from all over the world, we know when they are naturally formed and they have an outside influence(s). It is a process of location and crowd control with a solid response to separate the GOOD with the BAD from the crowds. It is like cleaning up beans before you boil them... my Mexican mom used to make me put a bunch of beans on a table and begin to separate them in bunches to take the dirt and rocks.

The Paris situation is a much more serious threat to Europe than to the United States at this point in time. However, everyone needs to take note and provide as much analysis to the entire situation.
