Paris Gallery Weekend: 44 galleries + 6 partners institutions
Last Tuesday, Paris Gallery Weekend unveiled its programme for 2018. The event celebrates modern and contemporary art in the galleries and highlights Paris's vivid arts scene.
More collaborative and bigger
For the first time, 44 participating galleries across the city present both established and emerging artists (David Hockney, Agnès Varda, Anselm Kiefer, Claude Viallat, Adrian Ghenie, Oli Epp, Jér?me Zonder, Lee Bae, Ga?lle Choisne, Julien Creuzet, Emily Ludwig Schaffer, Rachel de Joode…).
Two festive days : 26-27 May 2018
Visitors will be warmly welcome by gallerists and invited to discover a rich programme of vernissages and Rendez-Vous (meetings with artists, talks, performances, concerts, brunches, workshops...).
The VIP programme includes access to Talking Galleries talks on Friday 25 May, private tours in major institutions and more confidential ones such as Centre Pompidou, Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, Monnaie de Paris, frac ile-de-france, Fondation d’entreprise Ricard and the very new Fondation d’entreprise Lafayette…
