Parents sending kids to college: caveats and warnings!

The turning point for anyone's career is when there are in 11th grade and getting ready for entrance exams in India (IIT JEE, EAMCET, etc.) and SAT/ACT in America. Then the anticipation of applying and getting accepted at Harvard/Yale/Georgia Tech/IIT, etc.
I studied in two Universities full time in USA. University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa and University of Alabama at Birmingham and have seen first hand what happens at University. I am very worried about kids who go to American universities. The favorite hobby of students over the weekend in these universities is to go to the "Strip" where all the bars are located and drink till 1 AM then go with the nearest boy or girl to the apartment or car and have some quick sex before coming home in the wee hours of morning. I have seen the process of pairing up and get into cars over and over again. My own room mate Rajat would bring girls to our apartment and into his room on a regular basis. He now has some strange disease (Law of Karma) and is slowly dying. And the shameless girls would spend the night and talk to me in the morning in the living room as if nothing happened. What will they offer to their husbands having lost their chastity multiple times over. An what will Rajat offer to his wife having drained all his semen?
A pujari from the ISCKON temple in USA confided
"At Universities in America (and now in India) you learn two subjects: Biology (sex) and Chemistry (substance abuse - Marijuana, drugs, alcohol, psychotropics)...so I quit college and joined the temple"
So why is this a bad thing? Sex thrills but kills you (slowly). Both physically via STD and Aids, and spiritually as it practically slows spiritual progress to a halt. Life in a human body is meant for realizing the self and attaining Moksha. And this urge for sex is very strong in all animals and humans. Sex is designed for preserving the species and having kids. But when it becomes unrestricted, it slows our spiritual progress.
One other danger is that some women of loose character staying nearby can entice your boys and bad things can happen. One of my classmates Raju (first name hidden to protect the innocent) was enticed by a married lady when we were studying in Pune. She would be nice to him, feed him occasionally and one day came very close to him. He was inexperienced and fell victim to her advances and rest is history.
One other girl from University of Pune, she was from rural Maharashtra went with her friend to Lonavala which is a hill station. She and her somehow got intimate and this was observed by three of my other college boys who were also vacationing at Lonavala. They said they would report the incident to their parents unless the girl also slept with them. The girl from the family of Atri rishi, with surname Atre complied and ruined her life. She is still unmarried 30 years later. I feel so sorry for my classmate.
One of my classmates met a man at the College of Engineering Pimpri, who started acting funny with him and started touching him inappropriately. Later we learned that the man was gay. That was the end of his interactions with that man.
So university Education where the kids are young and susceptible is a very dangerous place. Better not stay in the dorm. Sex predators are everywhere. And your lovely kids are targets. In the name of education please do not let your kids lose their chastity and celibacy. More important than physical damage is the mental and emotional damage. More than that is the spiritual damage. Human life is for spiritual emancipation. DO NOT WASTE HUMAN LIFE.
To produce a good population we need to adopt the Vedic way.
