  • Living with multiple chronic illnesses is hard in the context of holding down a job
  • Holding down paid employment as a working parent, or carer, with health conditions presents enormous mental and physical challenges.
  • As therapists, we provide 12 tips to thrive - as well as survive - as a working parent with health conditions. These tips are based on personal experience and research into psychological and occupational therapies.

75th Anniversary Windrush Day

It's almost been one month since Windrush Day 2023 and I've found myself reflecting on the Windrush 75th anniversary.

I’m so proud of my cousin Kamilah McInnis, whose book ‘Windrush Wonders: Tales of Travel and Triumph' launched on 22 June! This is a children’s book produced by Enfield Caribbean Association, which will eventually be rolled out as part of the national curriculum.
