Parenting in this modern age is not a joke neither is it by experience. It is a great task and responsibility and collective responsibility. You as a parent cannot claim to be a perfect parent if the one in your neighborhood is not responsible. The reason is that you can't parent in a vacuum. your children in one way or another will have to interact with those of your neighbors of which you may not have control over. so what are you expected to do? Raise them up with high moral standards and values such that they will not be influenced but instead, they will influence their peers. parent, you have a great responsibility. Take charge and do not delegate your responsibility to the church, school or society.
