Para's 10 race for Cambodian children
Dear network, friends, family,
I have been training hard for the Para's 10 race for 4 months now, which I will be running on the 14th of May in Colchester, Essex. This is an iconic race for British Para's. The race is 16km long with 16kg on your back, it has 4 different terrains and is dotted with bogs, obstacles and hills.?
I decided to do this race to raise money for the charity PSE (Pour un Sourire d'Enfant). PSE is an association that helps children in Cambodia, it was founded 25 years ago by Christian and Marie-France de Pallières, PSE has since its creation saved 12,000 children from misery. The primary objective of PSE 25 years ago was to save the children who were working and feeding in the city's open dumps. Cambodia was coming out of 25 years of Khmer Rouge dictatorship and the country was devastated.?
It is an association that is very close to my heart because I lived in Cambodia for almost two years and I still have strong attachments there. I have also already carried out solidarity actions for this association (during my final year in Cambodia we went with my rugby team for 4 days to the PSE centre in Kep to bring clothes, games and carry out a whole range of sports activities with the children).
I invite you to visit the PSE website and to watch the film "Les pépites" which tells the incredible story of the association.
To make a donation, here is a link (any donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated): https://www.alvarum.com/benjaminmorlot
All donations will go directly to the association.

Photographers will be present on the day of the event, so you'll have some great pictures of me on the verge of agony ;)
Thanks in advance for any help.
Benjamin
