The Web Stack Competition is an exhilarating event that brings together web developers, designers, and coding enthusiasts. Much like a Hackathon, participants are challenged to create innovative and functional websites within a specified timeframe. ??
Overview:
- The purpose of this competition is to produce a full-fledged website (which will be announced on the day of competition)
- We will provide the website design to the participants and they have to build the website by using their own development skills.
Remember, in this competition, every line of code is a brushstroke on the canvas of innovation!
Rules and Regulations:
- Students can participate individually or with team (Maximum 3 members allowed).
- If participating in a team, they should decide their team name and the head of the team.
- The whole website will be divided into different sections and each section will have some points assigned to it.
- Time limit for the contest will be 3 hours.
- Participants can bring their own laptop for convenience.

Website sections:
- Navbar – The Nav Bar is a menu at the bottom or top of a screen with buttons for easy navigation within apps?or?websites.
- Hero section – The Hero Section of a website is the first thing visitors see, usually at the top of the homepage. It typically contains a prominent image or video, accompanied by a concise message.
- Services – The Services Section of a website provides a concise overview of the products or services offered by the business. It typically includes brief descriptions of each service, along with relevant images or icons.
- Projects –The Projects Section of a website showcases the work or projects completed by the business or individual. It typically includes images or videos of the projects, along with brief descriptions highlighting key features, challenges, and outcomes.
- Team –The Team Section of a website introduces the people behind the business or organization. It typically includes photos or avatars of team members, along with their names, roles, and brief biographies.
- Footer –The Footer of a website is located at the bottom of each webpage and typically contains links to important pages such as the About Us, Contact, and Terms of Service. It often includes additional navigation menus, contact information, social media links, and copyright notices.

Resources:
- Participants can use whatever tech stack they want to develop the website.
- We will provide all the native assets required for website development.
- Participants can also use image assets from Unsplash, Pixabay etc.
Judging Criteria:
- Website will be evaluated for:
- Design: Layout, Visual Design, Navigation, Structure, Typography etc.
- Responsiveness: Website should be responsive on Desktop, Mobile and as wells as tablet also.
- User experience: Ease of use, Aesthetic, Consistent look and feel.
- Technical: Functionality, Performance, Interactive features.
