Ek Soldier ki vyatha--Kise kya mila ye tho muqqadar ki baat hai hume tho humaare hi deshwaasiyon ne loota gairon mein kya dum tha
Today while watching highlights of yesterday's cricket as well as the IPL auctions a couple of days ago a strange thought struck me. We are a cricket obsessed nation. Nothing wrong on it but do we have the same fervor and love for our defence forces
Sorry we don't. We will salute a soldier and appreciate a martyr but when it comes to shelling down money for their families,we suddenly look elsewhere. There may be one Gautham Gambhir but that is it. We have huge fan followings for cricketers and film stars
We celebrate their birthdays and wait in queues to see them but to go and see a martyred officers family. Sorry too busy . Then comes the government which gifts huge sums of money to winning cricketers but when it comes to hiking the salary of an armed forces person , they are not interested. Kya is desh mein jaan sasti aur khel mehangi ho gayi hai. Khoon se holi khelnewaale jawaanon ki koi keemet nahi
Please think. We pelt the army with stones and still expect them to protect our borders
Ek pal ke liye itna socho ki jo ye deewane nahi hote hum sab ka kya hota.
Just think
We are a godammed pseudo secular nation who will take out candle marches for useless causes but not take one out to help the defence forces get a better deal. I am sure the Ambanis, the Mallyas , and everyone else who is running a successful enterprise in this country can afford to pay something back to the armed forces. When you can buy cricketers in auctions at high prices, the amount needed to help the defence forces is a paltry sum
I don't want likes for my post. I want ideas and your thoughts . Let us try and bring about the change we want .
