Are you confused reading the title? How are Product Management and Recruitment process linked? One is a Product and other is a Person, how it’s possible to create parallels?
Don’t worry, I am here to clarify it.
Recruitment is the process of identifying, screening, hiring, and eventually onboarding qualified job candidates. It’s carried out mainly by Human Resources.
Product Management is an Organizational function that deals with new product creation, business rationale, planning, verification, forecasting, pricing, product launch, and marketing at all phases of the product lifecycle.
So, can we portray parallels in Product Management and Recruitment process? It’s absolutely possible.

Product Management – Proposing to Client on why to choose our company ‘X’ over others in market and specifying old, successful projects done with other clients?
STAGE 2:
Recruitment – Acquiring candidate CV/Resumes via ATS (Applicant Tracking System) or Internal Job portal
Product Management – Client sign-off for Product Development initiation and get clarity on their requirements
STAGE 3:
Recruitment – Shortlisting CV/Resumes in align to Job description
Product Management – Preparing Product Roadmap in align to Client needs
Recruitment – Scheduling Job Interviews

STAGE 4:
