We are delighted to announce we have been shortlisted as finalists in Care Services Apprenticeship Provider of the Year and overall Apprenticeship Provider of the Year,?at the prestigious AAC Apprenticeship awards!?
Shane Mann, Managing Director of FE Week’s publisher Lsect and chair of the judging panel, said: “I know I speak for all AAC awards judges when I say how impressed we were with the standard of nominations this year”. Hearing words like this means so much to us at Paragon Skills showcasing and confirming that all our hard work is recognised on a national scale among the very best.

A well-trained manager can have a great impact on your business, they can impact engagement, retention, motivation, and productivity through the employees they manage. It is so important to work with leaders and managers to develop their skills and work with their ability and experience within their job role, so they are best placed to get results from their team. What sometimes can be seen as underperformance by an individual manager, could be a lack of training and coaching to develop their managerial skills. A great way for managers to improve their skill set, inspire their teams and achieve excellent business results is through leadership and management training.
Meet our first two Paragon Skills Ambassadors:
The Care Quality Commission has announced changes to the Health and Social Care regulations, to commence in 2023, but what are the changes and what does this mean for the sector??
In early 2023, the regulator – CQC plans to implement new changes to their regulation approach. Knowing about these changes means that you can prepare, advise, and implement improvements whilst staying ahead of the requirements of the regulatory framework and wider expectations.?

Apprenticeship training providers play?a crucial role in helping organisations to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their?particular sector.
If you are considering developing colleagues through an apprenticeship program, there are a few key factors to look for in a training provider to ensure that you receive high-quality training and support.
The care sector is facing a critical shortage of skilled workers, and apprenticeships are the key to addressing this crisis. Care providers are losing the battle to attract and retain enough staff, with more than 9 in 10 NHS leaders warning of a social care workforce crisis in their area, which they expect to get worse this winter.
The healthcare sector has been under immense strain in recent years due to a number of factors. The pandemic has had a devastating impact on care homes, with high death rates and a slow response from the government in terms of support, guidance, and PPE. This added to the already high levels of stress and additional hours for the care workforce.
Our Learner and Employer of the Month Awards celebrate the fantastic work our Apprentices do towards their learning and development and our employer partners’ incredible efforts toward their employees’ Apprenticeship journeys.
The awards are nominated and voted on by our Paragon Skills colleagues. The winners for December are:
