PARADISE

The sun kisses a peaceful world,

Parakeets fly iridescent wings unfurled,

Deer skip down silent streets,

Butterflies everywhere do our eyes meet.

The air is clean and fragrant too,

The waters run clear and a crystal blue,

Dolphins play tag with the golden sands,

Singing songs no one else understands.

The trees glow a fiery green,

As monkeys chatter away unseen,

The lions and the tigers seem at peace too,

Even the crocodiles seem to have found a paradise, true.

God leans back with a blissful sigh,

As he watches the tableau of life fly by,

The days are gorgeous, as the nights have been,

For nowhere is there a human to be seen.
