Paper Tube Production Process
1. Printing with Double-Copper Paper
- The production begins with the selection of double-copper paper, which has a smooth surface and is ideal for high-quality printing. Flexographic or gravure printing techniques are used to transfer the design, colors, and patterns onto the paper. After printing, the paper undergoes drying and curing to ensure the stability and durability of the print.
2. Molded Paper Tube Core Formation
- The printed double-copper paper is cut into the required dimensions, and then it is rolled into a paper tube core using specialized molds. The molding process ensures precise control over the inner diameter, outer diameter, and length of the paper tube. The seam is usually sealed using **heat sealing or glue, ensuring the tube maintains a stable, cylindrical shape without opening.
3. Cutting the Paperboard Core
- After forming the paper tube core, it is cut to the desired length. This cutting process must be precise to ensure that each tube has the correct length, in accordance with design specifications.
4. Gluing the Double-Copper Paper

- Once the paper tube core is complete, the previously printed double-copper paper is applied to the exterior using glue or heat sealing. This process ensures that the paper is securely attached to the tube surface without wrinkles, air bubbles, or other defects, ensuring a high-quality appearance and packaging integrity.
5. Bottom Sealing
- The bottom of the paper tube is typically sealed using mold pressing, which ensures the bottom is stable and capable of withstanding certain external pressures. The bottom sealing is crucial, especially during transportation, as it prevents the contents from leaking out.
6. Top Sealing
- The top of the paper tube is usually sealed with either a paper lid or a metal lid. Paper lids are commonly used for lighter packaging, while metal lids are preferred for products requiring higher levels of sealing and durability, such as food or health products. Both sealing methods effectively protect the contents of the tube from contamination or damage.
7. Quality Control
- Rigorous quality control is essential throughout the production process. The size, appearance, strength, and sealing of the paper tube must be thoroughly checked to ensure each tube meets the required standards. Various testing methods are employed to ensure that the paper tube will maintain its integrity during transportation and storage, and function as intended.
