The kind of the informational source always requiring possible format of the data:
- The source - rock will require two types: drawing (for the case of open rock it's not long-lasting, there weather will destroy it relatively rapid, for the case of cave it's might be longer because of conservation effect of the cave) or the second - stone carving with some kind of text, or images or sculpture.
- The source - lamp will require only sequence of changing states, for example Morse Code
- The source - paper closely to the rock's drawing will require text or images
- When we are reading data from HDD, it's became informational source, and just the same way require format - the sequence of sectors within direction of magnetic field (based on researching of the Michael Faraday and James Clerk Maxwell)
- And a lot of examples might be found
In general, the problem, for example, might be defined like: we (the people) usually do not analyse the data from the side where 2 dimensions of the paper might be describing 3 dimensions of the real world objects through the painting, where the the painting IS ONLY the view from the point of view of the person who has done this painting and when we will try to change the point of view the sense of the image might be totally different.
All of it looks like the Moon. We see one side only, but there are always other side. "Other side of moon" - it's no something bad or dangerous, it's another projection of the object.
Look on images. The first image is showing circle and rectangle thus figures have no any connection to each other for the first glance. But we are living in the real world, this world not restricted by 2D of the flat of the paper. The image on paper only one vector projection of the object that been drawn by an artist based only on artist's and technology abilities.
The same situation for the second image. We see the figures that, just the same way, have no any connection to each other. But the two unconnected figures is only the spiral projection. The connection between thus figures our own ability to see the real world object through the different kind of projections.
Let look on spiral more closely. For most cases when we imagining spiral we see some kind of spring (that is installed in the car) or hurricane fennel or something else primitive. Why primitive? When you might look on spring from the point of information you might see one rhythm where the spiral-steps is equal to each other. In real world it's not the same, there are always something interfering the ideal situation. The ideal situation is not always ideal. Idealism - is only for explanation principles, it's simplest to explain principles without mixing different kind of principles. Only one for one step.
The next image is demonstrating ideal and not ideal spirals.
Ideal is showing the equal spiral steps or duration (X) and length (L - it's funny that the letter L in handwriting style looking equally to the one step of the spiral) The second is looking like someone's signature, where unique rhythm of the spiral. Every spiral-step has unique length (L) and duration (X).
Just look on well known "Hello world" written in a little different manner especially for exampling how we are blocking ourselves by our own only because of not understanding that the paper is only solution for delivering information where information is not only 2D.
