The Panic Button
For the last months many people have put forward, what they thought was the best way forward for Britain. The input came from all over the world, while the decision was for the people in that country.
Now after they made the decision to leave, everybody again is trying to make the decisions for them, the young people who believe that the older people made the decision for them, not withstanding that the top of the European Union, which they say they like to be part of are all the same age or older then the ones in Britain they accuse.
This are the people, who for years have made the decisions and profited from the issues of all these countries connected to the European Union.
Now they threaten that Britain should start negotiating NOW, why because they are afraid to loose their positions in the long run, because Britain is not alone, there are several countries, who are fed up with some people sitting in their high chairs making decisions, which are not of interest for their countries.
Te European Union is not a United States of America, were there is more or less one common language, they are dealing with still now 27 countries, with different cultures and languages and their idea of living peacefully, without any intervention, which has nothing to do with age.
The Europe of trading has always existed, without intervention of bureaucrats, who never or most of them running businesses and certainly no SME's. Countries and their people have done business all over the world interacting with other people and their cultures without any interference.
Borders have never been an issue, when you travel you need a document, which say who you are, so why all the talk of free borders, they exist, but only with that document, so no change there either.
I am not British, but all the people who are not like me and still like to have their say, do this in your own country and even those in Britain who have No British residence or passport, would you country like interference in decisions by outsiders.
Some countries have strict rules to come to live and work, look at the USA, Australia and New Zealand as an example, why should Britain not like the same rule.
For Mr Tusk to make remarks as "it is not an amicable divorce", he should think were Poland would be with out people from Britain in 1945, that is exactly the reaction of a person, who likes to stay in power and not believing in the rights of others.
It is not my right and or any other person to decide on the right of people, what to do, so why do the people, who have lost think that you can change a loosing match in a winning one,. The only thing what they could do is see what could be done, without overthrowing a result.
We have to start living in a world were common sense prevails and not in a world were people who shouts the hardest think their decision counts.
Let me tell you, as with the bureaucrats, you all will loose at the end
Success to all for the future and respect each others in what the end result will be.

8 年HI Dr Luuk van Breda Indeed bang on the money, this result is a warning shot to the global elite........your next, And it can't happen quick enough. You are so right, trading has always happened ever since we had something someone else wanted and who felt they didn't need to kill us to have it. And the last thing trade needs is Bureaucrats...... This could well be all it takes for the whole experiment to unravel, and giving unrestricted access to a Million refuges without asking your population will not be without repercussions...worse is trying to force that viewpoint on your neighbours. Once again France and Germany are ruling the roost.......we have learnt nothing.
