The pandemic's impact on workplace learning

The pandemic has shown us that our people are our strength and that they can work in incredibly challenging circumstances – at home, alone, online with uncertainty, stress and personal difficulty.

But did we develop them to this end or is that just good luck? You may have tried to develop your teams in the past but do you feel like training just doesn’t always deliver on the investment or time that it takes? Or do your people return to work after training and simply not put the learning in to practise?

We know that development engages our people, motivates them and even retains them in your own business, but how do we get it to stick? The pandemic has shown us that our people can be agile, they can work and learn in different places in different ways. We don’t have to march cohorts of people off to a classroom on dates convenient to the business to improve capability and motivation to do their work even better.
