Pandemic or Opportunity???

Sometimes I think if COVID 19 outbreak wouldn't had happened, I could not get this break from routine life. Life is a race and we are runners. We always feel that time is running and we have not achieved enough. I fought daily right from getting up in morning to sleep in night. My usual fight starts from the Bed when I can't get up on time. Cooking breakfast & lunch is something that I need to manage. So when I don't get up on time, I end up either making break fast or lunch and at times NONE! What was our routine like?

Fighting Time & Never Winning

Fighting Time & Never Winning

We are ready to start for office! Inside I know that I am not gonna make it in time but I still give myself false hopes to try harder. This false hope peps me up and I start my journey thinking that I will reach in time. Before I move ahead I gotta tell my commute pattern - Home to Metro (10 Minutes Walk) - Interchange at a Station (10 Minutes Walk) - De board at the destination - Shuttle Bus to reach office (20 Minutes if bus comes on the spot) else 10 minute wait for bus - Walk from a point to office after getting down from bus. Phewwwww.....! Late! Late! Late! So in the entire process I hardly could reach office on time even if i start early form home because the day I start early & on time, I never get shuttle bus without waiting for 15 minutes minimum. OHHH GOD! Whyyy Me????

Seeing People Around & Running

Seeing People Around & Running

We humans are programmed to run because we have to ensure that we are not left behind not even by Metro! So running is a part of my daily life. I see people, I say excuse me, I again say excuse me to someone else and I RUN. WOW! I should have lost KGssssss by now. But I didn't. Why? Because I mentioned about COOKING! Dahhhhh... I eat outside! Others eat to live but I live to eat! And that too, outside food! But now that I am house arrest due to Pandemic, this is something I have taken care of. Running in office, running at home, running from self, running here & there ; I must say, we are athletes from inside out!

Managing Expectations (Personal & Professional / Home & Work)

Here comes the most interesting fight when we have to manager expectations of all stakeholders & family members. Right from justifying why I came late to closing tasks in a day and planning ahead, we have to manage all expectations at work place. Not just the task but the quality time with peers & colleagues are equally important. Also, when you are working, you gotta make a call to your family to check on them and tell about you. Then in evening I again repeat the entire commutation process to come back home and by the time I am home, my energy levels are like I am drowning. Now after reaching home, I gotta make chapatis for everyone and myself, eat dinner with family, have a conversation with them n etc. This is what they expect from you and you don't want to disappoint them. :) AMAZING! Managing everyone's expectation is something we have to deal with regularly without disappointing anyone.

Fitness - Mind, Body & Spirit

Fitness - Mind, Body & Spirit

While ensuring everything above, I was so disconnected with Fitness. My mind was working non stop, my body was working non stop. What we humans never focuses on, is this. When we are taking this much from our brain & body, we have to give back to them as well. Brain & Body deserves serenity. But I get it, We don't have time considering our daily routine. At-least, I never had time. So I started facing medical issues. And I was going on and on and on and repeating the above daily.. UNTILLLLLL !

I found my opportunity to focus on the areas I was not able to. I found my opportunity to think. I found my opportunity to give my brain & body what they deserved. I know I would have never taken a break from everything happening if this wasn't an imposed one. Now when I will resume, I know for a fact that I will be more efficient & productive with a different Mindset & Approach.

Because!!!!......??????

The pandemic had impacted everything and given us one precious thing which we could never afford - "TIME" - To do what we were not able to!
