Pandemic-Induced Healthcare Industry Innovation

While all organizations in the payer, provider, and healthcare solutions spaces have been dramatically tested and challenged by the past twelve months, it's been encouraging to hear from our clients that much transformational industry innovation has been spurred on by the pandemic.

Here are a few takeaways based on my conversations with hundreds of C-Suite healthcare executives:  

? Digital Health Took Center Stage -- the rapid pivot to telehealth & remote patient monitoring proved invaluable

? Big Data Emerged as an indispensable population health & chronic care management tool

? Accelerated Value Based Care Transformation softened the blow of reduced volume at many health systems

? Industry Consolidation Surged and M&A activity is likely to continue to increase post-pandemic
