The pandemic of efficient GIVING

"It's so addictive, I need to buy more tokens"

People don't give like they used to, do you feel it? The tightening of wallets when a shopping mall heckler demands your attention, AND money for their Charitable cause. It's hard to feel any empathy towards the unfortunate when the person asking, is seeing commission through an incentivized sales structure.

Formal Charity work is found to have originated in the 1600s via the pilgrims who landed in the United States of America. The head priest, would always talk about helping others through a word called "Charity". Each Sunday, the church would congregate and during the sermon's, the priest would often talk about helping others less fortunate as to support the greater Community during the settlement phase.

Since then, Charity has become a household word and a half trillion dollar Industry, and it IS an Industry! Many hope to find PAID work within the sector and do, with Government grants paying handsomely, enough to cover the consistent need for overheads and admin costs of human resources. Up to 80% of donations FAIL to reach the intended area due to the many hands involved. Corruption plagues mankind and whether we like to admit it, this repeated cycle won't change without a removal of the positions that are. Structured societies see less corruption but as money travels closer to under developed nations...things get a little different.

The time has come for disruption! Through technology, we can minimize costs and maximize efficiency by removing the expensive "middlemen" that soak up much of the monetary resources sent to aid the unfortunate. Blockchain is one technology in particular that promises to be a game changer in both the greater business industry and in the way we deliver services, by removing intermediaries who take a cut as the product or money is moved to the destination.

Technology has evolved in many ways, even more so in the recent years and what many people within the Charity Sector don't know, is this technology WILL replace the need for most of them! Simply put, we no longer NEED 50 people to handle funds, personal information and fundraising, we can code computer programs to do this. These technologies turn the "everyday person" into a fundraiser and nearly remove 100% of the administration resources needed to be a productive and contributing member of the campaign.

Charity Token is one of these disrupters. Initially setting our sights on the niche aspects of the sector. We focus on recruiting underprivileged Non-Profits in poor Countries who cannot afford expensive donation platform listings elsewhere. By doing so, we are building the biggest database of underdeveloped regions in the World at the same time and hope that in the future, large grants can be made directly to these Communities using our platform.

We have innovated the web3 culture into the Charity framework. There are several reasons why we believe to have created an entirely NEW Charity Model. It's called "incentivized giving", and it is the future of Charity because of the psychological barriers this model lowers. You see, people don't donate dollars on our platform but tokens instead. Below, is an outline of the donation process for a typical user.

1. Person downloads Charity Token from the app store
2. Signs up using email and password
3. Purchases Matic tokens from in app gateway
4. Person can now swap Matic for Charity Tokens and start earning rewards
5. The library is ever growing and contains Charities to directly donate tokens
6. Person can currently swap and hold 3 digital token currencies

Giving tokens is ADDICTIVE! So far, our studies have shown the "warm glow" feelings from a donation are amplified by the removal of any anxiety about the money used to donate. The purchase has already been made by acquiring the tokens, now giving them has a different value, one with no downside in mind. This feeling from the hit of dopamine and other happy hormones can be felt often as users can donate amounts as low as 1 cent in tokens, giving the opportunity to "feel good' about the event as often as they like. Transactions like this simply cannot be done using dollars.

This is a model worth pursuing and we intend on building the same model into fundraising via NFT technology. Our upcoming marketplace release will see Artists earn and split profits with our listed Charities 24/7 without the need for an intermediary person involved.

Among the model, is a myriad of inclusions that build trust between the Community and Charities. Blockchain is also great at transparency, which often lacks in the Charity sector. By adding features that show total donations, who donated and public transactions, we can start to rebuild the image of the greater cause known as Charity!
