Greetings fellow Reimaginers
I hope you have been having a beautiful summer.
This month I've been going deep on how we truly create an environment for innovation. That has included conversations with many folks, but notably Elvin Turner , and luckily all of you, it forms the latest episode on the podcast. Go go go!
After my conversation with Perry Timms recently on the questions we need to be asking ourselves as leaders, it got me thinking about the things I wish that I had learnt sooner in leadership. Some of that you can find below in my latest blog also.
Enjoy the long weekend UK friends... especially those of you in my old neighbourhood of Notting Hill for the carnival. I'll be right there with you in spirit.
Big love, RPB ????

This month I also shared a conversation with Perry Timms . In case you haven't come across Perry before also, he's speaker, author and all round thought leader... oh wait haha... yeah, he really is too, but really on work in it's entirety, and how we might dismantle it to build something better. Take a listen here.
A little from the blog
ARTICLE: Four pledges that I wish I had learnt to make sooner in leadership?
Leadership isn’t easy. It can often be a bumpy transition that sometimes takes you from delivery to enablement, from friend to almost foe, and from autonomous being to a calendar full of meetings.?
I didn’t quite realise all that stepping in honestly. I kind of assumed that because I was pretty good at building relationships with people, it would just come easily. Some early leadership experiences seemed to confirm that, until I learnt through feedback that I had some very clear development areas.?
Here are the four pledges that I wish I’d learnt to make sooner as a leader, so that you have a better chance of not making the same mistakes.
Until next time my friends, be excellent to each other ????
Ps. I know y'all are here for work stuff, but people pleasers and low self esteemers, take hop over to my?other blog?to read one of the most powerful things I learnt to do to build my self esteem.
