I noticed Nest UK posted a tweet about Nest Protect and an spike in the number of activations from Nest Protect owners on Pancake Day.

Could this be a different way of identifying trends and managing responses based on historical data.

With the data gathered from a Nest Protect it would be possible to know the location of the property and size, the precise location of a device within a property, the Nest Protect user and family details if submitted, when the family, occupants go to bed, how often the alarms sound and are tested etc.
