New Partners Going through The Capacity-building Trainings by WezaCare Solutions

#PamojaTunaWeza for the Children

By Selfine Onyango, Media & Communications Manager at WezaCare Solutions

This has been an interesting year for us at WezaCare Solutions , besides our key milestones as an organization, we have witnessed such incredible achievements by our partners.

We have seen more and more Charitable Children’s Institutions (CCIs) express their interest in the capacity-building trainings we offer as they go through the partner onboarding process. This goes to show that more CCIs are working towards providing better care and protection to vulnerable children through families.?

Seeing the positive impact on families on the ground is not just humbling but also inspiring, to say the least. It goes to show that as Child Welfare sector players and as a community, we are putting the child’s best interest first as a priority. For that, we are grateful.?

As we officially close for the year, we would like to thank the key Child Welfare sector players for their contributions towards the care and protection of vulnerable children and families. We would also like to thank the government, through the National Council of Children’s Services (NCCS), for advocating for Alternative and Family-based Care; through the National Care Reform Strategy and the Children’s Act amendment. This is truly a game-changer for the sector.?

We appreciate our partner organizations and charities that have adopted and implemented Family and Community-based Care. They have reworked their programs, gotten their staff trained, and gone through capacity building as an organization. This has not been easy, but their drive to provide the best for vulnerable children still continues to stand out.?

Finally, we would also like to appreciate our own #TeamWezaCare for continuously pushing to fulfill our mission and vision; to support charities with innovative solutions to care for and protect vulnerable children and families. The WezaCare Solutions team has worked towards seeing every child grow up in a safe, loving, and sustainable family, in a way that embodies our core values. This is a testament to the positive impact of teamwork and how much we can achieve for our children as a team.?
