PAM Breaks $20 Million/Month Profit Target Today; Last Day To Avail Of Old Subscription Rates

Robert P. Balan, Predictive Analytic Models

Original article here.

Summary

With equity markets surging after the stupendous earnings reports of the big tech companies, PAM achieves and breaks the self-imposed $20 million July profit target.

July performance means PAM has delivered $53,072,664.76 in profits since January 1, 2020 on a starting capital of $2,172,813. Year to date performance -- 2,342.57%; Annualized P&L performance -- 4,379.80%.

We set August 2020 profit target at $30 million. We expect trending lower markets by August-early September, so to meet the new target, we have to increase nominal risk levels.

Today, July 31, is the last day to avail of old PAM subscription rates, and of the free two-week trial period. New rates will apply as from tomorrow, August 1, and the free two-week will be discontinued as well from tomorrow.

We expect to announce new PAM Millionaires for July tomorrow.

--------------------------------------------------------------

As from August 1, 2020, PAM will cease offering two-week free trial subscriptions and will raise yearly fees from $700/year to $1,200/year, and monthly fees from $75/month to $170/month.

The rationale for these steps is to keep the community's core membership to a manageable size so that we can properly train and guide subscribers how to use investment-bank trading strategies/tactics and tools to grow their trading capital exponentially.

Our objective is to create millionaires in the core membership quickly by providing real-money trades which deliver more than 1,440 percent in trading performance or better. More details in this article.

Take this opportunity to avail of the low fees NOW. Please go here.

henry.riveraJul 31, 2020 11:33 AM

Hi robert.p.balan Now that the structures are clearer to continue climbing, can we have a target for ES and NQ? or it is still too early to define it. Thanks.

robert.p.balanJul 31, 2020 12:33 PM

Still too early HR. We will do it as soon as the price wave action becomes clearer.

_all PAM BUYS 144 CONTRACTS OF NQU0 FOR ALL THREE FUNDS, XXX DISCRETION._

_all PAM BUYS 144 CONTRACTS OF ESU0 FOR ALL THREE FUNDS, XXX DISCRETION._

Nice going Scotty -- you're the next entry on the PAM Millionaires' Club for July?

robert.p.balanLeaderModeratorOwnerJul 31, 2020 11:00 AM

We merely reinstated last night's offloaded long trades.

vjapnJul 31, 2020 11:09 AM

Robert, Are you planning to add to short TN position being you still expect rising yields for about a week?

robert.p.balanLeaderModeratorOwnerJul 31, 2020 11:13 A

vjapn -- we are giving the models and new bond yield data from Alan and Ippy the benefit of the doubt.

Scott007Jul 31, 2020 11:11 AM

Hopefully by September.

gwizz1Jul 31, 2020 11:05 AM

robert.p.balan What was your thinking that resulted in the conclusion the market is still looking good (and causing you to reinstate longs)?

Was it yields dropping and the market hasn't reacted?

robert.p.balanLeaderModeratorJul 31, 2020 11:19 AM

It was yields dropping and equities staying put. Now, we do not have to worry too much about fallking yield slamming our long equity trades.

gwizz1Jul 31, 2020 11:20 AM

Thanks Robert

robert.p.balanLeaderModeratorJul 31, 2020 11:20 AM

Yields and equrties are now in a period where equities and yield historically diverge (in direction) -- yields go lower, while equities rise.

Scott007Jul 31, 2020 11:27 AM

Love this chart

vons52Jul 31, 2020 4:54 PM

Not related to PAM, but does anyone understand why bio has been downward lately? Do we expect them to turn and go up any time soon?

plavacJul 31, 2020 5:03 PM

If S&P500 follow seasonality of 2014., we have a problem

TimK123Jul 31, 2020 5:24 PM

FTSE and DAX selling all day today, when they close in 5 minutes that could remove a drag on US indices. Might aid their recovery

ippy04Jul 31, 2020 6:20 PM

yields are down from the open but not responding to current equity flush

paul.blairJul 31, 2020 6:21 PM

...and just as you said that...

flytightJul 31, 2020 2:39 PM

robert.p.balan CONGRATULATIONS ROBERT AND TIM....Generating a $20 million profit in one month is just priceless and really overwhelming. This is so impressive as compared to when you two started back in mid-2018. I have learned so much participating every day. Calm, cool and collected! You have to love it!

vons52Jul 31, 2020 7:11 PM

1st time in 3 weeks RB's trading is not working as he planned! Guess that's how good he is.

According to trading alerts, he posted at 1 am this morning. "BUYS 144 CONTRACTS OF NQU0 FOR ALL THREE FUNDS"

TimK123Jul 31, 2020 7:13 PM

The scalp prior to that was great though. Give it a day or two, you might be surprised.

vons52Jul 31, 2020 7:15 PM

Tim, in case NQ is higher in 2 TDs than when he bought it earlier this morning, do I sell NQ now and buy later at a better price?

I'm wondering if I just sit tight and just follow the direction of RB's trading alerts

TimK123Jul 31, 2020 7:16 PM

If you are following RB, I would suggest to just do as he does vons. If you try to be too clever you might miss the rally (I have in the past).

roquefortJul 31, 2020 7:28 PM

Its not the 1st time scalp were underwater, the main point is being patient and trust the model/EW, with a bit of time the money will come from those trades. If he managed to make money with contracts (ES) that went 800 points underwater, dont worry for today, its nothing

robert.p.balanJul 31, 2020 7:41 PM

vons52 the market has random structure -- there is no way you can CONSISTENTLY buy the low and exit at the the high. And not every trade makes money right away. I guess you have to do a lot of reading about the PAM methodology -- your expectations are way way too high. We go by probabilities.

That means we suffer a share of newsflow that is counter to liquidity flows. But the default is for markets going with liquidity flows when the impact of the newsflow is over. It is all a matter of surviving the negative impact of newsflow.

vons52Jul 31, 2020 9:46 PM

Sorry, RB. It's not what I meant.. I know you're ridiculously accurate. That's why this is 1st time in 3 weeks this happens!! I know your model can't be accurate by hours.... Also, your trades were 93% accurate - guess it's a little higher by now. It's good to learn from other members what I'm going to do when this happens in the future. Thank you!!

Scott007Jul 31, 2020 7:45 PM

He isn't executed until he provided (done). And he is great

sparketJul 31, 2020 2:42 PM

I agree. Truly incredible!! To start from $1MM at the beginning of the year and then ramp to $20MM in just one month?!? Beyond legendary. Makes me proud to be part of the PAM community!!

robert.p.balanLeaderModeratorJul 31, 2020 10:18 PM

995dog -- that's hilarious. lol.

god599Jul 31, 2020 10:20 PM

that gif is very indicative of how Rb handles chaotic situations

bryanlanJul 31, 2020 10:22 PM

could not agree more - so much learning of the intangibles watching how RB works

drtodorJul 31, 2020 2:48 PM

flytight you are next to get to that level

paradigmJul 31, 2020 2:54 PM

Yes Robert, truly a class act to share all this knowledge and experience with us. Your focus and dedication to your craft are exceptional.

robert.p.balanLeaderModeratorOwnerJul 31, 2020 3:18 PM

Thanks flytight and paradigm -- appreciate that very much. But don't forget that money is the root of all benevolence and that has been a big factor in that focus and dedication.

Moreover, I love all of you guy/gals -- you are family to me.

By the way, Mr. Tim Kiser just noted that DXY came alive after the yields surged. And he also noted that Gold was hammered as consequence. A case of 1+1+1 equals 3.

Thanks flytight and paradigm -- appreciate that very much. But don't forget that money is the root of all benevolence and that has been a big factor in that focus and dedication. Moreover, I love all of you guy/gals -- you are family to me.

sri2020Jul 31, 2020 3:20 PM

I cant express my gratitude enough for the education you are imparting. Not many people think the way you do while imparting knowledge. Thank you!

robert.p.balanJul 31, 2020 3:29 PM

You are very welcome sri!

flytightJul 31, 2020 3:28 PM

drtodor Still wishful thinking dr. Not doing futures yet, but otherwise doing just fine making 2% per day plus or minus with my Pairs trading. The good news is that I am now using 1m charts like Robert. It took me a while to get down to that speed, but at least we are now on the same plain. Hope to be comfortable enough to do futures perhaps by end of September to catch the next big move on liquidity. How is your new system coming along?

QuaziJul 31, 2020 4:13 PM

Gold wasn't down for long ... miners bounced too!

flytightJul 31, 2020 4:19 PM

Futures were way up this morning.

user.52300813Jul 31, 2020 4:41 PM

How are often are the natural gas futures updated

Natural Gas (Henry Hub) Physical Futures

QuaziJul 31, 2020 6:18 PM

Looks like the Dollar and US10Y have stopped falling today and that has frozen the metals in place and should maintain a PM trading range until they move again.

robert.p.balanLeaderModeratorOwnerJul 31, 2020 7:00 PM

*RTYU0 -- DONE AT BETTER 1467.44 BOUGHT 144 RTYU0 FOR ALL THREE FUNDS. *

Alan.LongbonJul 31, 2020 9:55 PM

Those falling buys or whatever the technical term is worked really well. They dropped right down to those levels you set and then went back up again. Only Y did not fire for me, the other 2 did. Brilliant.

tooearlytodeclareJul 31, 2020 10:10 PM

By-product learning from RB: How not to freak out. Have a great weekend you all.

robert.p.balanLeaderModeratorOwnerJul 31, 2020 10:16 PM

Thanks Alan.Longbon And tooearlytodeclare -- There are no freaks at PAM (lol).

sparketJul 31, 2020 10:28 PM

Nerves of steel today. Thanks for leading the way Robert. Looking forward to next week and glad to be getting back in the game now!

tooearlytodeclareJul 31, 2020 10:30 PM

No, thank YOU Robert. Seriously, having a good idea where the main trend is pointing, is HUGE.

Like my handle screams, I am trying to be cautious to attribute my good luck to intently following the system, but in only three weeks of trading with real money, I already got back a healthy multiple of the annual membership, and I haven't even been here long enough to go through a seasonal!

robert.p.balanLeaderModeratorOwnerJul 31, 2020 10:32 PM

Wait until you have seasonals -- and then you learn what worry means. LOL

Ask Mr. Ip.

kiraninvestorJul 31, 2020 10:34 PM

catching falling knives and pointing them up is robert's specialty. Gotta learn that from him

ippy04Jul 31, 2020 10:37 PM

Re: Seasonals.... Long 3040-3080 in Feb... Sell in June for 3090+... Seeking Alpha Chat

robert.p.balan June 3, 2020 4:29 AM

Yes vinci -- the hedges were sold. I will post the trades in a moment. But first, we want to get out of straggler Seasonal longs, so we can get rid of the short hedges later.

1800 handle ES roundtrip, no big deal....

(with overhedge, of course)

robert.p.balanLeaderModeratorOwnerJul 31, 2020 10:40 PM

"1800 handle ES roundtrip, no big deal...." -- finest recovery act in my career. LOL

sparketJul 31, 2020 10:54 PM

I distinctly remember panicking as markets ES drops to 2200 and Robert is making calls for a V and even higher highs in the Nasdaq. Mind blowing.

robert.p.balanJul 31, 2020 11:20 PM

nice memory sparket -- yes that was great but it was gut-wrenching before stuff went our way.

karmixoJul 31, 2020 10:41 PM

Hi robert.p.balan . Are you closing any position for the weekend?

robert.p.balanLeaderModeratorOwnerJul 31, 2020 10:45 PM

KM -- I think the MOTUs are done toying with us mere mortals, and now that the FOMC is at the rear view mirror, they will go back to really showing who is boss. I have a feeling Asia Monday will pick up the baton so the time to take some profits is when we get close to the July highs.

karmixoJul 31, 2020 10:47 PM

Ok, thanks! Have a great weekend!

robert.p.balanLeaderModeratorOwnerJul 31, 2020 10:47 PM

You too have a nice w/e

wayne_2020Jul 31, 2020 10:50 PM

Robert, "take some profits is when we get close to the July highs." Aren't we pretty close to the July 20th high already, say, NQ or ES? Is that what you refer to for profit taking spot? And timing could be Asia hours on Monday?

robert.p.balanLeaderModeratorOwnerJul 31, 2020 10:51 PM

That was the standard bearer wayne, ES

Jul 20 high for NQ

Not necessarily -- Asia picks up the baton, and it goes from there.

wayne_2020Jul 31, 2020 10:58 PM

Thanks, Robert. So do you expect a bit pullback at that resistance of Jul 20 high, before the final leg up to TD 158? Looks like ES just finished a wave 5 from Jul 24 (last Fri) low... so a pullback seems due soon? (sorry, I don't mean to drag on the discussion here, just curious about your Monday outlook, which would help some of us - ETF-only traders - position over the weekend). Thanks.

ptTL9Jul 31, 2020 11:06 PM

robert.p.balan timothy.r.kiser Dear Robert and Tim, thank you very much for a great month, wishing you a wonderful, restful summer weekend.

robert.p.balanLeaderModeratorOwnerJul 31, 2020 11:16 PM

wayne -- can't give you a full blueprint up to TD 158 from here. markets throw in random curve balls when you are not looking hard. a pullback happens if we get to that top -- neither of these (test of top, pullback) are sure to happen -- we will take then as they come. I know you love details -- but I have nothing to offer yet.

wayne_2020Jul 31, 2020 11:18 PM

Thanks, Robert. That's good enough to allow me to sleep thru the weekend Will play by ear then. Cheers. Have a great weekend and enjoy the summer

Rita -- thanks for a lovely summation for the month.

robert.p.balanLeaderModeratorOwnerJul 31, 2020 11:25 PM
