Back2School with Sam Lunn & Sean Gibson
From our R&D?Team, Sean Gibson and Sam Lunn had the pleasure of visiting Stakeford Primary School to discuss the significance of water and the challenges surrounding water scarcity. The students were incredibly engaged, participating in a lively presentation before diving into hands-on testing with the Kemio and Lumiso devices.
During the session, the children tested their tap water for chlorine and pH levels, and they were particularly excited about the safety gloves! Their curiosity sparked some thoughtful questions, such as, "Are you real scientists? You don’t look like one!" and "Why do our fingers go wrinkly when we're in water for too long?" One student even asked, "Is it possible to run out of water?"
It was a fun and educational experience for everyone, leaving the children with a deeper understanding of water’s importance and how science plays a role in protecting it.
