Congratulations, Ms."Hanan al-Hroub, who teaches in the West Bank,was awarded the second annual Global Teacher Prize," you are a beacon of light for all other's & hope for all the Palestinian people and their future generations to come to live in peace and harmony. May your success be a sign for others to follow your example in setting good precedence throughout the global village.

Now that's called service to humanity.Where are other such examples from our part of the world who must be out there in our countries nook &corners,if not at international level have our governments even given such prizes to most deserving teachers across the country Pakistan by any of the preceding governments.

You have set an example of excellence by working in all odd conditions as a;"A Palestinian primary school teacher who encourages students to renounce violence has won a $1 million prize for teaching excellence."

I encourage all Muslim teacher's & in particular all Pakistani teachers to do the same.
