A Palate for Technology – A Recipe for Success

A Palate for Technology – A Recipe for Success

Back in 2016, when I moved back to the United States, I made a commitment on LinkedIn to write about the topics I always wished executives would discuss, including personal insights and professional journeys. And so, here I am, excited to spill the beans on why I believe Reachify is the next big success in SaaS.

Last year, I left my post operating a technology firm when a good friend and serial entrepreneur, Dr. Vishal Verma, invited me to explore the go-to-market strategy for a company he's been nurturing. The company began as a shared inbox platform to service med spas and healthcare offices. While rooted in compliance, the healthcare space's complex EHR landscape steered the company towards automation, which benefited multiple verticals, especially in the restaurant industry.?

?

At first blush, the value wasn’t obvious to me. After all, the market is flooded with app-based food delivery services. Do we really need an alternative to DoorDash??

But then, the value of Reachify hit me like the first bite of a decadent truffle dessert.

We all call restaurants! Sometimes it's simply to avoid inflated delivery costs. Or to make a reservation. Or to ask a question. Restaurants receive thousands of these calls monthly, many of which go unanswered.?

With the technology capturing my excitement, Reachify invited me to serve on its Board of Directors and assist in creating its go-to-market strategy. The company is led by a multi-time CTO, turned CEO Zeel Jadia. Zeel’s vision is what led the company to find product-market fit in the restaurant space. The roadmap he has built for the platform will revolutionize the way restaurants serve their customers. Reachify also appointed a good friend and colleague of more than 10 years, Edwin Ojeda as their first-ever Chief Revenue Officer. For so many reasons, Edwin is the right leader to drive adoption and growth. He has the attention to detail, process, and discipline to create an enterprise “must-have” solution for restauranteurs.

?

Competing Flavors: Customer Experience vs. Efficiency

In an era where customer experience is key, restaurants grapple with balancing immediate customer needs and fiscal efficiency. Today’s economy exacerbates this struggle with rising food and labor costs. Handling the influx of phone orders during peak hours becomes a significant challenge.

Do they over-staff to manage phones or be efficient and leave phones unanswered? Do they prioritize in-person customers or answer the phone, risking the wrath of waiting guests?

“Phones by nature present restaurants with an all-or-nothing dichotomy. We offer the best of both worlds, allowing restaurants to better serve guests and to narrow the phone conversations to the more essential complex needs.”? ~ Zeel Jadia, Reachify CEO

?

Elegant Integration

Designed for the individual restaurant owner or a national multi-location franchise, Reachify’s platform is user-friendly yet technologically advanced. The platform can either serve as the primary phone carrier providing all phone services with existing phone numbers and extensions or it can receive calls from an existing carrier. With automation features like upfront-call menus, missed-call menus, and dynamic menus, all self-service and adjustable by the restaurant as frequently as they desire. The platform was designed to be updated and maintained without interruption to customers.

Additionally, Reachify ensures compliance with carrier regulations including 10DLC registration, even distinguishing landlines and blocked numbers to assure enterprise readiness. This protects restaurant owners from the risk of a carrier shutting down all phone traffic for SMS being misused.

?

A Final Indulgence

Reachify isn't just another item on the technology menu; it's a signature dish that every restaurant should offer its clients. Its unique blend of experience, efficiency, compliance, and innovation is a culinary art form of customer satisfaction.

I am fired up to be working with this executive team and the board to cook up a go-to-market strategy for this hot SaaS provider. Together, we'll enable restaurateurs to focus on creating dishes and experiences that cultivate customer loyalty and boost revenue.

It’s always very insightful and instructive to read any of your posts Jeff. But this one has something very much about you my friend. I have a feeling that is endeavour will be an industry bomb!!! ????????????

You summed up and drove my interest progression with how you laid out your own journey with this service Jeffrey Klenner. It makes me think about how many businesses I originally started using DD or UE for, simply because the ordering process was so inefficient going direct. I would be really curious to see how these restaurants/chains would also incorporate these capabilities into their advertising and marketing approaches to let customers like me know that the process is simpler and less error prone.
