The National Conference for the Revival of Sports in Pakistan commenced today in Islamabad, marking a decisive moment in the Pakistan's journey towards reclaiming its sporting legacy. "Aspiring sportsmen should not struggle for their basic livelihood; they should be able to train and shine," proclaimed Prof. Iqbal, echoing the sentiments of inclusivity and empowerment.
A significant stride towards nurturing young talent was unveiled with the announcement that the Higher Education Commission (HEC) will ramp up admissions and scholarships for sportsmen. The government's commitment to strenghtening sports infrastructure was exemplified through the approval of a project to establish 250 mini sports complexes nationwide.
