A painted promise this October.

The formal definition of what I do for work is "crafting communications that drive cultural change as part of a whole-of-institution approach to preventing gender-based violence."

Day to day, this can sometimes feel like I'm unscrambling a messy Rubik's cube (and just as frustrating!), but this month, it looks like a painted nail ?????

Participating in, and coordinating the 澳大利亚悉尼科技大学 involvement in the national Polished Man campaign has been both rewarding and inspiring. To see individuals from all levels of our organisation unite to take a stand against gender-based violence is the type of support (and action) we need.

In Australia, 65 women have been killed by their intimate partners / other family members this year alone. 1 in 7 Australians have experienced childhood abuse.?

Now, I am not usually a nail painter, but for a cause like Polished Man , it's a no-brainer.

To the legend behind the movement, Natalie Kean it has been an honour to collaborate with you this year. Thank you for your generosity both in time, passion and dedication.
