Pain Medicine widens its borders

Europe has many different projects to increase the sensibility of the heath care systems toward pain patients. The Paolo Procacci Foundation (PPF) is contributing, especially with the presence of its president. In this occasion, in Chisinau (Moldova Republic) over 300 health care professionals, especially Anesthetists and Rheumatologists, have participated in a symposium fully dedicated to "Acute Pain".

The enthusiasm shown by the attendees is guaranteeing a big potential development of Pain Medicine in that country. The Anesthetists, represented by Professor Adrian Bel?i, have asked for an increased cultural exchanges with the part of Europe where the sensibility toward the pain patients is already well developed. This sensibility is perceived as a pre-requisite for a better development of the Pain Medicine.
