Paddy Power Betfair has unveiled plans to rename itself Flutter Entertainment. The FTSE 100 bookmaker, which acquired the rights to the name Flutter in 2001, said the name change would reflect “the increased diversity of our brands and operations”. Shareholders will vote on the change at the company’s annual meeting in May. Just Eat’s interim chief executive has said he doesn’t want the job permanently, just three weeks after the takeaway delivery group indicated that he was a candidate for the role. 6 年I hope 'Flutter' still keeps using the Paddy Power and Betfair brands though, both superb brands. They would be mad to also change the branding. I worked for a great company in 90s and 00s that changed its name from ScottishTelecom to THUS. Absolute madness! It was still a great company but I think that brand fail was an early signal of the beginning of its end.
