PackageX: Next Phase in the Logistics Modernization Journey
Farrukh Mahboob
Founder & CEO @ PackageX | Automate Data Entry and Manual Logistics Processes with AI Scanning & Workflow Apps at Buildings, Warehouses, and Stores
Today we're embarking on the next phase of our journey to modernize global logistics. I'm very excited to share the news about our:
New Positioning
We started PackageX a little over four years ago with a vision to make the movement of packages across the logistics ecosystem less complex, more digital, and highly connected.?
Our first stop was New York City in 2018, automating last-yard delivery management for a flagship customer and moving thousands of packages in/out of their global locations daily. Many more customers quickly came on board across commercial and residential real estate, higher education, and hospitality verticals. Therefore, we developed a user-centric, scalable, and reliable solution early in our journey that could function globally and supported 17 languages.
Our customers loved how we digitized and automated their receiving workflows and wanted more. It led us to develop adjacent logistics apps to simplify inventory, shipping, and tracking at buildings and across the logistics mile. This journey with 100+ B2B customers took us to 44 countries and 214 cities.
Throughout, we consistently learned that many of our customers and prospects not only wanted to digitize their manual logistics processes through our apps but also wished to unify and connect various logistics workflows, tools, and operations. And in many instances, they wanted to use and integrate our developer-friendly APIs within their existing systems and applications.
These learnings, alongside market tailwinds, pushed us to think outside of the box, and it embarked us on a journey to build a unified and modern platform that would standardize legacy logistics and, more importantly, give our customers the applicational and developmental tools they needed to service logistics operations from the first yard to the last.

Positive Impact on the Logistics Industry
