Dr Luis Martinez will be presenting "Acellular therapies in Regenerative Medicine" at the Pacific Regenerative Medicine Conference in Honolulu November 6-7th. In his program, he will discuss:

Regenerative Medicine as a clinical field, has almost exclusively been associated with stem cell treatments. However, the scope of acellular therapies has expanded and interest in these treatments has been growing. This lecture will review current strategies that can be used in organ and tissue regeneration, without using actual live cells. Gene therapy, cell conditioned media, platelet lysate, amniotic derived therapies and isolated growth factor treatments, to name a few, will be discussed in detail. Scientific as well as regulatory aspects will be reviewed and recommendation for clinical implementation as well as future trends will be outlined.

Dr Luis Martínez is a Regenerative and Cell therapy specialist and President of XanoGene Clinic and the Latin American Society of Regenerative Medicine, a multi-specialty society that promotes the highest standards in education and research in Regenerative Medicine and heads their Master’s Diploma Program in Regenerative Medicine.
