PACE Awarded Prestigious Solar Impulse Efficient Solution Label

PACE has been awarded the coveted Solar Impulse Efficient Solution Label. The accolade recognises PACE's pioneering work in the development of aviation sustainability linked finance data tied to industry led metrics and KPIs. With a focus on technology and innovation, PACE’s primary goal is to support sustainable aircraft finance and leasing.

The Solar Impulse Efficient Solution Label, initiated by the Solar Impulse Foundation, has a visionary goal - to identify and promote solutions that are both economically viable and environmentally sustainable. The journey started with the round-the-world flight of the zero emissions Solar Impulse aircraft. This ground-breaking achievement was founded by the famous Swiss explorer and clean technology pioneer Bertrand Piccard. Following the successful piloted flight, Bertrand Piccard created the Solar Impulse Foundation as a platform for identifying and endorsing innovative sustainability solutions.

To address environmental challenges without compromising economic growth, the Solar Impulse Foundation has identified over 1,500 clean and profitable solutions. Bertrand Piccard said, “Solutions exist that are logical more than just ecological, that can create jobs and generate profit while also reducing polluting emissions and preserving natural resources.”
