Each one of us is always busy and in a rush to squeeze out more from the 86400 seconds that we have every day. It is no different when you come to stay with us at one of over 100,000 rooms. We, at OYO, continuously strive to offer excellent experiences at a great value with high service quality at the core of it. However, given the unpredictability in your plans and the scale of our business, not everything works like clockwork every single time. On some occasions, there is a need for you to change your plans or to get some booking related information or talk to us about an issue you might have faced. And you don’t want to get in the queue with a call center or talk to OYO Captain and explain your situation. That’s exactly where OYO Assist comes in.


OYO Assist is an in-app service that offers self-service process flows on multiple aspects of your booking and stay with us. Services offered include booking modifications, enquiries on OYO and hotel-specific policies, refund claims, raise complaints/issues etc. We also offer a very capable and effective call center service support and OYO Captains for addressing your modifications, queries, and concerns. However, we believe each one of us is unique and special in our needs and expectations. So, we want you to have the freedom to choose how and when you engage with us. OYO Assist gets tasks done at a place and time of your choice with just a few taps. Should you choose to use OYO Assist, which we recommend for its ease and flexibility, following are the services offered:

A Window to your Booking Information, OYO and Hotel Policies

OYO Assist will give you easy access to OYO and policies of its partner hotels. It will help you in checking booking-related policies like early check-in, late check-out, cancellation or no-show charges, and hotel-specific policies around acceptance of local ID, couple guests, and international guests, etc.

Modify your Booking in just 3-taps

Imagine you planned out a short weekend trip but you fell in love with your break and now you need to extend the stay. Or, you went on a business trip and closed the deal sooner than you expected and now you would love to shorten the stay and rush back home. Don’t worry, OYO Assist will help you in making these changes even before your coffee gets cold.

Simply tap OYO Assist,  followed by “Modify Booking”, select the New dates> Number of guests + rooms> Confirm the price - and Voila! it’s done. You will also see how the modification affects your total tariff in a detailed price break-up.

Claim Refunds - Fast & Easy

You might change your plans and need to cancel the booking or switch to another OYO. With OYO Assist, claiming your refund has become super easy. Through the Claim Refund section, you can raise a claim by clicking “Booking by mistake”. OYO Assist team will validate whether you have created a similar booking at a different hotel, in the same city, on the same Check-in & Check-out date, same occupancy and rooms with 100% payment in a matter of hours. For any further clarification, the team will themselves reach out to the user within 30 minutes. For you, it is just a few taps.

Raising Complaints/Feedback

As South Asia’s largest hotel chain, we take responsibility to ensure our guests have a flawless experience and an impeccable stay. However, we also realize that sometimes you might need to raise concerns/complaints with us. When you take time from your life to share your experience with us, we want to make this process extremely simple and easy for you. OYO Assist offers an instant and easy-to-use channel for complaints and feedback. While we address the issue swiftly and decisively, you will be able to keep track of status on the app. Additionally, our OYO Captains are available round-the-clock at your service to offer assistance.
