Manually operated most economic Oxygen Concentrator for use in COVID-19 emergencies, developed by Shri Kondal Rao Garu. This instrument works in the principal of Vaccum pressure swing adoption. They used Zeolite molecular seives as Nitrogen absorbent.

As per Kondal Rao Garu :

 "Atmospheric air contains 20.95% Oxygen , 78% Nitrogen. In our process Nitrogen absorbed by zeolite and Oxygen released for usage."

Advantages:

  1. Fully Mechanical (no dependency on electricity)
  2. Light weight and Mobile (compared to Oxygen Cylinder)
  3. Low Cost
  4. Re-usable
  5. Low Maintenance
