OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR

HELLO CONNECTIONS!!

Here is my new article about parts of oxygen concentrator

An oxygen concentrator is a medical device that provides concentrated oxygen to patients with respiratory issues. Here are the main parts of an oxygen concentrator:

Compressor:

This motorized component draws in ambient air and compresses it, allowing the device to separate oxygen from other gases.

Filters: There are typically two types:

Intake Filter: Cleans the air entering the device to remove dust and impurities.

Molecular Sieve: A specialized filter that separates oxygen from nitrogen and other gases.

Molecular Sieve Beds:

These are usually made of zeolite, which absorbs nitrogen and allows oxygen to pass through. The concentrator alternates between two beds, allowing one to absorb nitrogen while the other releases concentrated oxygen.

Oxygen Outlet:

The purified oxygen is delivered to the patient through a nasal cannula or mask, usually via this outlet.

Control Panel:

This allows users to set the desired flow rate of oxygen, typically measured in liters per minute (LPM), and to monitor various functions.

Humidifier Bottle:

Some concentrators include a humidifier to add moisture to the oxygen, making it more comfortable for patients to breathe.

Alarms and Indicators:

These alert users to any issues, such as low oxygen purity, power failures, or maintenance needs.

Power Supply:

Provides the necessary energy to run the compressor and other electronic components, which can be connected to a wall outlet or a battery.
