Inside CliffCo: The chart above is one of the three wave changes in American economics we will discuss at the next Porsche on May 10th.?

But?first a couple of CliffCo brand updates and why - we're erasing words like club, community, group, etc., from our orbit.?

They join the same graveyard as networking did from the start.

More ‘National Leadership Movement’ and more Slack on the way, courtesy of our 7S model, aligning shared values and systems for the next year.?


By the way — why Slack1, when we could have deployed Teams for free?


First, a lot of Google users among companies and, yes Teams can work, but a lot more annoying than compatible.

Bigger reason - never regretted buying a quality standard vs the long regrets of “settling” for less.?

?

Two big things in customer leadership - explosive trends in the social media arena with UGC (User Generated Content). It lets customers and company constituents toot your horn. Social media soapbox has melted. Few listening to us about us.?

?

Solution - Regroup. Good UGC requires more strategy and execution practices than horn tooting. Discuss more May 10th.

The other breaking customer trend across CliffCo companies is what we call One Love2- companies that are buying from emerging, exciting brands want to know and hear about what’s really going on in the company- ups, downs and dreams that lie ahead.

?

They want to feel part of it, something honest and making a difference. Let them in without the frou-frou.

?

Example. It is very, very rare, if ever, we send out a member message like the one below. Great example of One Love and then our take on the housing chart at the top.


Cliff,?

I’ll be raising our second herd of bison this spring, right here in the Tetons. ? Last year was a proof of concept. This year is about expansion. ? We know we can raise healthy, strapping bison on these grasslands, but this year we need ranch upgrades to support a larger herd. ? Because we’re hoping to scale up by 400% to raise 40 bison — so we can produce more local, sustainable bison for OK Ranch Butcher’s Boxes and more.

We’ll grow the herd thoughtfully because I’m committed to raising these animals with the respect and consideration they deserve.?

One of the most essential upgrades for a larger herd is an on-ranch water well. And wells are expensive! We’ve made the hole, but now we need a pump.

That’s why I am thrilled to announce that OK Ranch is the recipient of a Teton Slow Food grant.?

The Teton Farmer Fund supports farmers and ranchers who produce good, clean, and fair food in our community.?

This grant is funded by Hughes Charitable Foundation, Teton Conservation District and private donations to Slow Food in the Tetons.?

I’m so grateful for this investment in our vision for raising bison in the Teton foothills.?
