Owners

Are you an owner or are you owned? Does someone determine your income and your schedule? Have you build your life around your job? A slave builds his life around his master’s job. A slave’s identity is his master. But you can work somewhere in your own terms. That doesn’t mean being egotistic or lack of accountability. But a situation where you’re needed, not sympathized for.
Everyone should be deployed in their vocation, not employed by a slave master. You were born free. You shouldn’t be a slave of your job. Slaves can’t go to church or holiday when they want. Everybody should be a master in their craft. Masters build their jobs around their lives. They can extend their working hours when they want. And they can take a break when they want.
No one should own you. Whoever controls you owns you. You can be so good at what you do that you renegotiate your terms of engagement. If you remain average, you’ll be hired on common terms. You can’t even post what you want on social media lest it costs your job. Being a free soul doesn’t imply arrogance. On the contrary, masters have a greater sense of responsibility.
Jesus died for ownership. Redemption is not complete without ownership. To redeem is to buy back. By feeding 5,000 men plus their wives and children, Jesus illustrated that there’s no shortage in the kingdom of God. Blessings are never in short supply. You can carry a tea spoon or a water bucket to draw water from the sea. The limiting factor will be your vessel.
People mistake their limitations for high standards and being calculative in life. God is not limited. All limitations are self-imposed. You’re confined by the walls you build. Never limit yourself. You have no idea what you’re capable of accomplishing. In the world of imagination, there’s no limitation. You’re limited by your desires. The bible says God grants us the desires of our hearts (Psalm 37:4).
