Own A Piece Of The Maasai Mara
Trai Anfield
Wildlife & Environment Photographer / Film Maker / Broadcaster / Tour Leader at Trai Anfield Photography & Enlightened Media
I am honoured to be part of this incredible effort to raise funds for conservation in the Maasai Mara during the current tourism crisis.
While tourists cannot access the Mara, poachers still can, in increasing numbers and with less chance of being caught slaughtering the last remaining wildlife.
In addition, without income from tourism, and with unprecedented flooding and unimaginable plagues of locusts destroying Kenyan crops, families and communities are suffering, and may have no alternative than to turn to bush meat as a means of feeding their families. The situation in the Mara is critical.
In response, the Greatest Maasai Mara Photographer Of The Year contest is placing the most successful images from the last 3 years - including these two from me - on auction to raise funds for conservation in the the Maasai Mara.
Please share this post: just by doing that you're helping to save this unique and precious ecosystem.
And if you're in a position to bid on one of the beautiful artworks, please also go online to bid for your favourite, knowing that if your bid is successful, not only will you own some of the most incredible photography to come out of Africa, you will be helping to save the Maasai Mara.
Thank you.
