Own A Piece of Film Sound History
I've sold some cool audio stuff in my time.
But this, well this is a whole different level of cool.
Resurface are honoured to have been asked by our friends at Sony Pictures in Culver City to find a new home for their recently-replaced Harrison MPC4-D.
Let's not get hung up on the spec. Sure, it's a 28 foot long, triple operator, 192 Fader, 416 channel digital console in full working order, packed and crated ready to ship to its new owner. It was lovingly and meticulously maintained and upgraded throughout its service by Sony's world class technical team. But you'd expect that, right?
What we're talking about here is a genuine piece of film sound history. The movies that were mixed on this console went on to take over $8 Billion at the box office. From Hateful Eight to Transformers, Spider Man to the Da Vinci Code, this desk took every line of dialog, every gunshot, orchestral cue, car chase and chameleon (yep, Rango - did that too) and allowed the mixers whose fingers flew its faders, whose digits drove its DSP to create sonic experiences that have shaped cinema.
Now it's time for the next instalment in the story of this remarkable desk.

8 年I have fond memories of that beast, specially pushing notes on that track system above the faders! Wishing you best of luck with the sale.
