We have finalized the plans for our tour of the Port of New York & New Jersey which is confirmed for Thursday, September 26, 2024. Meet up scheduled at 9am for the group to be transported to the terminal for the 10 AM briefing. It promises to be a fascinating event and a chance to be with some colleagues we haven’t seen in months and new faces as well.

Government Affairs Professional and Policy Analyst
?
Cheryl Cosslett is a government affairs professional and policy analyst with expertise on Southeast Asia. As a consultant for Vriens & Partners based in Singapore and Indonesia, she assisted Fortune 500 companies and non-profit organizations in navigating the often complex policy and regulatory environments?in the region, focusing on healthcare, tech, and manufacturing. She also worked as a research analyst for Marsh McLennan , focusing on climate risks and healthcare. Now based at Vriens & Partners' DC office for the summer, she conducts research and analysis into how US trade policy and foreign policy impact economic and political developments in the Asia Pacific.?
Cheryl recently graduated from 美国哥伦比亚大学 with a master's in Urban and Social Policy, where she specialized in Data Analytics and Quantitative Analysis. During her studies, she worked as a consultant for the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in reforming Downtown amid declining tech revenues, the affordability crisis, and lack of inclusive public spaces. She also co-wrote a case study with the World Economic Forum to guide cities and local governments in implementing successful public-private partnerships, based on the success of the?Vin?a landfill in Belgrade, Serbia. On the side, she worked as a due diligence consultant for Blackpeak, where she performed public record checks on companies and individual entities to guide clients' investment and partnership decisions.
She enjoys combining insights from conversations with data and statistics, and loves doing multiple different things while exploring new interests, whether academically or professionally.
