OVHcloud: Backstage UK 2024

Last week we hosted our annual channel partner event, Backstage, at the prestigious Swan Restaurant on London’s south bank, next to the historic Globe Theatre.

?It was a fantastic opportunity to show our commitment to our partners and recognize the successes across our growing channel partner ecosystem.

We may not have had the bard himself, but we were able to kick-start the event with a video introduction from CEO Michel Paulin , followed by talks on both the global technology landscape and local partner program from VP Emma Dennard and Partner Program Manager David Devine .

Emma Dennard gave an outline of our global plan, and the investments that OVHcloud has been making to help realise this locally, including a compelling brand campaign and a portfolio of powerful products that helps to address complex customer needs in a highly impactful way. These include the ability to address #AI, as well as a range of #PaaS solutions that can remove much of the routine administration for channel partners, helping them to focus on strategic, higher-value work.

David Devine spoke about our commitment to building relationships with partners, and how the personal approach that we take is supporting the acceleration of partner cloud sales. In an age where technology is becoming increasingly complex, he underlined the importance of simple, clear communication built on mutual trust and value.

We had two brilliant focus talks: Sales Director Matthew Tebay and Senior Enterprise Sales Manager Adnan Patka talked us through a recent example of how we collaborate closely with our partners to support them and win new opportunities. We were also very privileged to host guest speaker Didem ün Ate? , CEO of LotusAI, who not only neatly summed up the different aspects of the AI world, but also their impact on the workforce, channel community – and also the need for responsible AI in today’s world. Thank you Didem!

Finally, we announced our yearly Partner Program Awards, showcasing channel partners that have distinguished themselves through their commitment to excellence in the industry. Every single nominee and winner deserves a round of applause, so we’d like to recognize each and every one of them:

This award recognises partners who create a uniquely innovative solution which delivers greater value to their customer’s digital transformation journey, using OVHcloud products.

New Partner of the Year 2023

For partners who have recently joined the OVHcloud Partner Program. Awarded in recognition for the partners’ alignment and collaboration with OVHcloud and their approach to sales enablement and sales creation to drive sales pipeline.

Partner of the Year 2023

This award recognises partners who achieve a consistent record of excellence in terms of delivery, service and customer experience, aligned to the OVHcloud values of an open and transparent, sovereign cloud, and working together to serve our customer’s interests.
