OVF March Newsletter
The daffodils have bloomed. The clock has been moved forward. That means Spring! We begin to see the tiniest buds on the trees and birds start singing just a little louder. I really enjoy my work this time of year. I spend a lot of time in my car and it is very uplifting on days when I can open up that sun roof and enjoy fresh air and the fresh colors of the season.
On the subject of color, we’ve an announcement from Johnsonite.
Johnsonite’s Color of the Year is here!
Johnsonite has always been seen as the leader when it comes to color in design. You are invited to come with us and explore how color is answering the need for comfort and connection in our constantly changing world.

HMTX Industries is a global flooring company and home of Metroflor. The company’s world headquarters is located in Norwalk, CT. From March 12-14, OVF was invited to participate in the 2024 Commercial Summit Meeting. We love work field trips! Especially if we can tour and learn in a world class facility! The project was completed in 2022 and is currently in progress of achieving Living Building Challenge certification.
We had such a great time of learning and now we are excited to share our new product knowledge and the many reasons that Metroflor stands out in the commercial flooring industry. New LVT visuals for DEJA NEW including terrazzo looks and architect folders will be available soon!

OVF People to Know:? Kenneth Mozze
?As I’ve said many times before, it’s the people that make a business successful. We don’t always see who it is behind the scenes making sure things go right for our customers and projects.
This smiling gentleman pictured above is a very valuable team member of our territory. Kenneth is a truck driver for our KY South and Evansville deliveries. When he’s not on the road, he helps get things done in our Louisville warehouse. I was glad to have met Kenneth recently while loading some of my samples at the warehouse. Kenneth is a busy guy. He’s been married for over 30 years! He has 3 adult kids and 5 grandchildren. Kenneth makes his home in the Louisville Newburg area.
Until next time....
