We've had some pretty nice days recently. Maybe the Groundhog was wrong this time? Which brings to mind Protecting the Flooring Investment.
Traveling in and out of buildings, I see a lot of messy floors this time of year! February is a good time to review options for entry matting. Prevention is the key to less scrubbing and refinishing. In short, the flooring investment will look better and last far longer when quality walk-off matting is supplied at all entry points. It may not seem all that significant but did you know that in commercial facilities, one square yard of carpet can accumulate one pound of dirt in a week- twice that in inclement weather! 70 to 80 percent of dust, grime, and dirt in a building are tracked in from the outside on peoples' feet permanently damaging floors and carpets. (Institute of Industrial Launderers)? When a rugged entry matting is what you need, consider Johnsonite’s Clean Path. Walk all over it! That’s what Clean Path is counting on. Available in 2 standard colors to hide dirt and debris, this modular walk-off tile stands it’s ground to protect all kinds of entryways. Ask for samples.
