Overworking effects more than just work.

Overworking effects more than just work.

In today's hyper-connected world, the line between work and personal life has become increasingly blurred. Many of us find ourselves constantly "on," checking emails late into the night, taking calls during family dinners, and sacrificing our well-being for the sake of productivity. This culture of overworking has led to a burnout epidemic, with more people than ever experiencing chronic stress, exhaustion, and a sense of detachment from their work and personal lives.

One way to get out of the cycle of overworking is to set boundaries. Setting boundaries at work is not just beneficial—it's essential for long-term success and well-being. Start by clearly defining your work hours and communicating them to colleagues and supervisors. Learn to say "no" to additional tasks when your plate is already full, and don't be afraid to delegate when appropriate.

Once you set boundaries with how and when you work, you can find balance and purpose in other parts of your life. Think about how much time you could get back from the time you spend on work towards a hobby, or taking better care of your body, and most importantly - spaciousness to just be without doing.

In this week, livestream, I discuss 5 ways to stop overworking and bring balance and boundaries back to your life.
