Dear lovebugs,
How are you doing??!!!
Remember to write me please, especially via email – I’d really love to know how you’re doing.
OVERWHELMED?!
It’s currently peak season in your life; goals are pressing, tasks are piling, relationships are calling etc., and you’re on the verge of giving up because why the hell not? Lol!
However, you really shouldn’t. This phase will pass, and you will grow through it. I promise.
If you’re like me, you’ve desperately sought a solution to this particular bane. Now, I’m not immune to feeling overwhelmed. However, I’d love to share a couple of tips that have helped me over the years.
PRAYER
Prayer works y’all! At times, it might be a quick, quiet mumble asking for help and other times, it might be long and passionate prayers, even involving tears. The important thing is to converse with God in utmost vulnerability and let His peace, wisdom too saturate your soul.
TIME MANAGEMENT AND PRIORITISATION
It is important to rank activities in order of importance and urgency. This largely eliminates time wasting and brings about a structural?balance. Projected below are four quadrants of time management useful for prioritization and restoring balance into our lives. They include:
Quadrant 1: Urgent and important.

Quadrant 2: Not urgent yet important.
Quadrant 3: Urgent but not important.
Quadrant 4: Not urgent and not important.
The best quadrant is the second quadrant. It is better to execute important tasks before they are deemed urgent. This way, you have enough time to execute other tasks perfectly.
DELEGATION
Here’s one of my favorites lol! I’ve struggled with this for so long, but it is so important! Empower those around you and grow together! This cannot be overemphasized. It’s a win-win situation. Others are positioned for excellence; you make impact, and your stress levels are also greatly reduced.
BREAKS
From short naps to extended vacations, breaks are so necessary. ?Watch cartoons or short skits, binge watch your favorite shows and focus on intermediate snacking. Your life must not revolve around activities solely. Increased rest is complemented by increased efficiency. The next time you’re tempted to prioritise work when your body needs rest, remember you’ll finish that task faster and better when you’re well rested.
It is okay to rest. In whichever way you can, please rest.
Until the next time, I am Rooting for Us All SO MUCH!!!!!!!
