This presentation by Shannon Stowell is super important. For #adventuretravel companies like Yahnny Bly & Co., we really put our heart and soul into the experience. I've traveled extensively over the past few months and people wonder what I have been doing in each location. Traveling to only a handful of countries this year alone, I've had the opportunity to spend time in over 200 cities/towns/villages in order to intensively experience each country so that I can share this knowledge with you. Yes, we want to have fun and take photos but I can assure you that each place that you will be visiting with YBC will not have the crazy crowds (take the time to watch this video on the link). Also, there is a reason why the groups are kept small for YBC. The goal is to build connectivity with each other (some of you have become travel buddies!), with the locals and your with your guides (they are truly amazing souls with the passion to share their homeland with you), and most of all, not to be "herded" from one location to the next. Each local guide takes pride in taking care of their environment, are immensely trained in their respective disciplines, and wholeheartedly support the sustainability of their culture. If you are interested in learning more, I encourage you to get in touch with me. I ask you to take the time to connect with me so I can really share what I've experienced. It has always been my dream to create a business that focuses on what I love but the conundrum is that I will never offer "stock" trips or anything that will compromise or exploit the environment, culture, and locals. This means, that the group trip offerings will take time to grow and each group will always be less than 10 people per trip. Maybe this is not considered a sustainable business model for some, but I beg to differ. This is the real deal, folks. Trust me, I've seen enough "instagrammable" moments and fakery while photographing the world. Take the time. Travel is NOT a competition so that you can tell your friends and family how many countries you've visited.
