Overthinking? you are killing yourself!

Overthinking? you are killing yourself!

What are these 5 things which keep us bound unnecessarily ? Trying to please everyone, Fearing Change, Living in the Past, Putting yourself down always and Overthinking and the last one is the worst of all, to think about something too much or for too long.” While it's human nature to think things through when making a decision or evaluating a situation, it becomes overthinking when you can't get out of your own head. We shall focus on overthinking in this article.

The problem of overthinking extends into many areas of our lives. While time spent in reflection is an important part of being a mindful, curious and self-aware individual capable of growth and change, time lost in destructive rumination perpetuates a cycle of self-limiting and self-destructive thinking and behaviour. So how can we learn when, where and how to focus our attention?

Overthinking is linked to psychological problems, like depression and anxiety. It's likely that overthinking causes mental health to decline and as your mental health declines, the more likely you are to overthink. Don't think of what can go wrong, but what can go right. ...How can we stop the vicious cycle of overthinking? Let us try to distract yourself into happiness. Always try to put things into perspective and for god's sake stop waiting for perfection which never exists, you need to change your view of fear and of course put a timer to work.

If you feel like you are not good enough then insecurity will occur so as the result you will think a lot about one event again and again and overthinking will generate. These insecurities will only occur from the way you are thinking about the situation and the way you are judging yourself. People tend to overthink in numerous circumstances: it is in their nature to have everything in their as perfect as possible. so, they try to think in terms of all aspects of what they want/should do to achieve that and if any thing is going to get in their way.

Most of the time our brain is at ease at night just before we go to sleep and that time if we go on thinking, it is largely down to the brain processing what has happened to us during the day. Because our days are now filled with so much and we're taking in more information, we don't have the gaps to process our thoughts throughout the day. It is interesting study from University College of Santa Barbara suggests that thinking too much about something leads to poor judgement and decision-making. And poor judgement and decisions, can be harmful and even lethal in some situations therefore, you can see where thinking too much can be harmful to your health.

You don't have to have an anxiety disorder to engage in constant rumination. You might say it's part of the human condition. We all overthink things at times and you may be overly concerned with what you said or did to somebody. It is important to note that it is proven by academics that women may overthink more than men. They are said to have a higher blood flow in the emotional areas of the brain than me and this obviously increases their empathy, vulnerability, and anxiety in most fragile emotional cases. They have a more active brain than men's.

By allowing yourself time to address stress during the day and spending time relaxing before bedtime,e you will ease yourself into a better night's sleep. The use of distracting relaxation techniques may further help during the night. You can do it really easily just reduce your racing thoughts and put your insomnia to bed for good. Don't need to take sleeping pills for this reason, just try to relax your brain and meditate at the time of sleeping.

Here are some good techniques to have a relaxed mind while sleeping. Take slow, deep breaths and try other breathing exercises for relaxation which gives enough blood flow to the brain, it is a good idea to soak in a warm bath and listen to soothing music and practice mindful meditation to shut of the active brain. The goal of mindful meditation is to focus your attention on things that are happening right now in the present moment we can also use guided imagery into bringing peace process for the brain at night. Stay blessed! #kishoreshintre
