Overseas exporters or agents and importers of imported food can apply for record filing online through the "Single Window" or "Internet+Customs," or submit paper applications to the local customs office. After record filing, customs will issue an 18-digit unified code for customs clearance. Exporters or agents who have already filed will receive a new code, and the original number will be discontinued; importers will use the unified social credit code. When importing, declarations should be made as "domestic consignees," and the corresponding codes should be filled in on the customs declaration form. Record filing information can be queried on the "China Customs Enterprise Import and Export Credit Information Public Service Platform" under the "List of Specific Qualifications Administrative Relative Persons."
