2004-?Start going to auctions to purchase goods, refurbish and sell on for more. 16 years old.
2005- As a high school student I took my first lease on my first office for my marketing business. Door knocked and cold called hundreds of businesses.
2006 - Gap year focused on up-skilling myself and doing contract work.?
2007 - Start my first major business, “Trampolines Australia”. Close my eyes and scroll my finger down a list of products landing on “Trampolines”.?Decided to be the first non-department store seller in Australia of Trampolines.?
2008 - Dropped out of University to focus on my business, 7 figure revenue in year one.?
2009 - Despite economic free-fall due to the Debt Crash recession of the market and massive losses due to big changes on exchange rates, managed to grow the business 300% in one year.
2010 - Rebranded from “Trampolines Australia '' to “Vuly Trampolines” to have a more global name. (After the God of smithery “Vulcan”) Tried unsuccessfully to grow the business to the USA, made massive losses, faced personal depression and returned to Australia. Launched new product models.?
2011 - Focused purely on Australia; business strengthens and continues to grow. Health and life returns.?
2012 - Start to stock our products in a large number of small stores and department stores, business continues to grow.?
2013 - Get products stocked in Toys R Us Australia, trends as one of the best selling products. Meeting arranged with the World Wide CEO of Toys R Us and the entire executive team they agreed to take us global to multiple countries. Spent several months traveling the world. Massive growth year.?

2014 - During another massive growth year BRW rates Vuly as “Australia Most Innovative Company”. I faced litigation from a competitor trying to muscle me out of the market, selling equity for the first time to raise capital for the litigation. Board grows from 1 to 7 directors for the first time. Vuly makes first ever loss. Directors meddle with the day to day affairs of the business and every metric of success suffers horribly. Wins and settles all litigations in multiple districts around the world.?Turbulence causes me to become unhealthy and not look after myself mentally or physically, gain weight and become depressed again.????
2015 - Board tries to fire me from the business and asks me to give up all my shares for me to compensate them for their incompetence. After ugly confrontation the board agrees to walk away and are brought out by friendly parties arranged by myself. I became the only director again. Negotiate debt positions with multiple parties. Sell off of assets to recapitalise the business including a deal with one of the worlds greatest Toy companies Spin Master which pushed out North American growth future. Massive restructuring of the company. Supported by friends and loyal vendors.?
2016 - Losses stopped, returned to profit, new range of products caused sales to surge as well as the “Vuly Reborn marketing campaign”. Another great growth year. Become the youngest person ever in my city to be named as “Businessman of the Year” By the Lord Mayor of Brisbane. Become fit and mentally healthy working out everyday and have my first real holiday in 7 years.?Vuly Trampolines becomes Vuly Play, starts selling many other new product types such as swings.?
2017 - Friendly party started a program to buy back shares, many uncomfortable conversations with shareholders. Another growth year, business grows from strength to strength. We launch the world's safest Trampoline Parks used by Sky Zones throughout the world even installed on a cruise ship. Win’s the highest level Good Design Award for Vuly Parks.?
2018 - Continue the share buy back program and launch more new products to continue the growth run. By this stage Vuly became Australia’s second largest Toy Company. Start selling Basketball Hoops and Monkey Bars.?
2019 - Began to purchase large industrial facilities and a large amount of land for our new and existing distribution centres. End up purchasing more than 60,000m2 of industrial property. Business stable and growing very well.
2020 - Business rapidly booms due to COVID19 lockdowns and parents at home needing our products. Incredibly strong position.?
2021 - The Boom continues, several amazing new products in R&D to be released in the future. Enter the Bicycle industry successfully and prepare construction on a new additional fully automated 10,000m2 distribution facility.
