The Overlords

The Overlords

The guy who sometimes has a little (I'd use the word minimal) input writing these is on holiday this week, the lazy sod.

So then. Looks like we, his overlords, are back in control.

I’m Russ Allcock, a cotton headed ninny muggins. And I’m Dan Davison, a silly goose. Now that introductions are out the way, we can get down to business. For this week’s newsletter, we have taken it upon ourselves to gather some really great resources for you guys.

Such as this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marketing

That right there is the Wikipedia page for marketing. Really useful because it’s like reading about marketing from the perspective of a robot, and when the robots eventually take over, there will likely be a quiz about the Wikipedia marketing page, so it will be good if you are familiar with it. Plus you get to read such thrilling sections as ‘Marketing management orientations’ and ‘Product life cycle’.

Our next invaluable resource is this: https://myrightbird.com/

Oh, you lucky lucky people, who have now been introduced to the marvel that is myrightbird.com. On this ingenious website, you will FINALLY know which is the perfect bird for you. Will it be a parrot or a pigeon? A canary or a cockatiel? Or perhaps even a severe mini-macaw? We are excited to hear the results. But be warned: you must be 13 years or older to use this website.

Ok, now let's get serious again: https://lotr.fandom.com/wiki/Melkor?

The Dark Lord Morgoth (formerly known as Melkor) was especially evil, even more evil than The Dark Lord Sauron. As is discussed in this Lord of the Rings wiki page, Morgoth committed such brazen acts as stealing the Silmarils and destroying the Two Lamps of the Valar. He even worked with Ungoliant, Shelob’s mother, to destroy the Two Trees of Valinor. Fortunately, he was eventually defeated and banished by the Valar into the void, though it has been prophesied that he will one day return.

Which brings us neatly to our next resource: https://permutedpress.com/the-first-steps-to-prepping-for-the-apocalypse

Earlier we mentioned that robots may take over, but frankly, ‘Cybergeddon’ is the least of our concerns. Whether it is by the hands of The Dark Lord Morgoth, zombies, or even an asteroid, the apocalypse is nigh, and you should always be prepared for the worst. Therefore we have supplied you with seven steps for preparing for the apocalypse. You won’t BELIEVE number 3!

And finally, we will leave you with our favourite of all the resources: https://www.everydayim.com/

‘Every day I’m…’ Follow the link to find out more. You can thank us later!
